The show will make its UK premiere at the Theatre Royal Plymouth in July 2024 before transferring to London’s Dominion Theatre from October 2024.
The Devil Wears Prada musical is based on the 2003 novel of the same name by Lauren Weisberger and the 2006 movie adaption which featured Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway.
Jerry Mitchell (Kinky Boots, Legally Blonde, Hairspray) will helm the new production, which has music by Elton John, lyrics by Shaina Taub and a book by Kate Wetherhead.

Starring recent Royal Academy of Music graduate Gavin Adams as Aladdin, who will be making his professional debut in the title role, and Yeukayi Ushe as Genie.
Desmonda Cathabel will star as Jasmine, when the show opens in Edinburgh, with casting for the role in future venues to be announced in due course.
They are joined by Adam Strong as Jafar, Angelo Paragoso as Iago, Jo Servi as Sultan, Nay-Nay as Babkak, Adam Taylor as Omar, Nelson Bettencourt as Kassim, with Damien Winchester as Standby Genie/Babkak/Sultan and Juan Jackson as Standby Jafar/Genie/Sultan.
Featuring Hannah Amin, Dammi Aregbeshola, Rico Bakker, Daisy Barnett, Sarah Benbelaid, Erin Gisele Chapman, Tau-En Chien, Zac Frieze, Juan Jackson, James Lim, Harriet Millier, Luchia Moss, Aaron Elijah Patel, Abbie Platts, Joseph Poulton, Olivier Scheers, Kerry Spark and Ricardo Spriggs.
The UK & Ireland launches from Autumn 2023, opening at the Edinburgh Playhouse, from 24th October – 19th November 2023.

Final Cast Announced for Death Note The Musical in Concert at Lyric Theatre
Olivier award-winner George Maguire, Jessica Lee, Carl Man, Boaz Chad and Patrick Munday are joining the cast of Death Note THE MUSICAL in Concert at the Lyric Theatre.
George Maguire will play Ryuk.
His West End roles include Buck Barrow in ‘Bonnie & Clyde’, Dave in ‘Sunny Afternoon’. He had the title role of The Whicker Man at The Watermill Theatre.
Jessica Lee will play Misa.
She is currently playing Kim in ‘Miss Saigon’ at Sheffield Crucible. Her West End shows include ‘Prince of Egypt’ and ‘Les Miserables’, and ‘Evita” (Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre).
Carl Man will be the Alternate L.
His West End roles include Romeo (1st cover) in ‘& Juliet’ and Fiyero (1st cover) in ‘Wicked’. He will be playing Fiyero in the upcoming ‘Wicked’ UK & Ireland tour.
Boaz Chad and Patrick Munday will join the ensemble.

Hamnet Extends Its Run In The West End And Announces Full Cast
Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC) and Neal Street Productions in association with Hera Pictures today announce a 6 week extension for the West End transfer of Maggie O’Farrell’s Hamnet, adapted by Lolita Chakrabarti (Life of Pi) and directed by Erica Whyman.
Also announced today is the full West End cast. Joining the company are Gabriel Akuwudike (Bartholomew), Phoebe Campbell (Susanna), Mhairi Gayer (Tilly/Caterina/Landlady) and Liza Sadovy (Mary). Reprising their roles from the RSC’s Stratford-upon-Avon run are Sarah Belcher (Joan), Will Brown (Burbage/Father John), Ajani Cabey (Hamnet), Frankie Hastings (Eliza/Customer), Karl Haynes (Ned), Alex Jarrett (Judith), Madeleine Mantock (Agnes Hathaway), Hannah McPake (Jude), Tom Varey (William Shakespeare) and Peter Wight (John/Will Kempe), Haydn Burke and Faye Campbell complete the cast as off-stage understudies.
The production had a sell-out run in Stratford-upon-Avon, breaking box office records at the RSC’s Swan Theatre and will open to the biggest advance of any production at the Garrick Theatre.

Cast Announced for the UK and Ireland Tour of The Drifter’s Girl
Michael Harrison and David Ian announce casting for the first-ever UK and Ireland tour of The Drifters Girl, the acclaimed new West End musical which tells the remarkable story of one of the world’s greatest vocal groups and the woman who made them.
Carly Mercedes Dyer, former star of Six the Musical and who delighted audiences with her performances as Erma in Anything Goes, will play music industry change-maker, Faye Treadwell.
Carly will star alongside Ashford Campbell (who hit UK screens in ITV’s The X Factor as member of The Risk and now continues his journey with The Drifters Girl having performed as part of the West End company), Miles Anthony Daley (Tina Turner: The Musical, Aldwych Theatre; Choir of Man, Arts Theatre), Tarik Frimpong (The Wiz, Hope Mill Theatre; Aladdin, Prince Edward Theatre) and Dalton Harris, who won The X Factor in 2018.
The casting announcement also welcomes Jaydah Bell-Ricketts (A Little Princess, Royal Festival Hall; School Of Rock, Gillian Lynne Theatre) to her first touring role as Girl.
Completing the cast is Loren Anderson, Tre Copeland-Williams, Ethan Davis, Matthew Dawkins and Linseigh Green.
Having played to packed houses and nightly standing ovations at the Garrick Theatre in London’s West End (following a triumphant run at Newcastle’s Theatre Royal), the production recently announced a UK Tour to open in 2023, with performances beginning at the Mayflower Theatre, Southampton, on Tuesday 12th September 2023.

ELF The Musical - Starring Matthew Wolfenden as Buddy 'Son of a nutcracker!'
After devoting almost two decades to Emmerdale, TV star Matthew Wolfenden (Dancing on Ice, The Real Full Monty, Hollyoaks) will leave the hit soap opera and return to the stage by first starring as Buddy in the smash-hit musical adaptation of ELF!
Playing at London’s Dominion Theatre for a strictly limited season from 15 November 2023 until 6 January 2024, he will be joined by Tom Chambers, who reprises the role of Walter Hobbs. The rest of the cast include previously announced Georgina Castle as Jovie, Rebecca Lock as Emily Hobbs, Nicholas Pound as Santa, Kim Ismay as Debs and Dermot Canavan as Store Manager.

The beloved Andrew Lloyd Webber musical STARLIGHT EXPRESS is reportedly set for a major London revival, it has been rumoured.
The long-awaited return of roller-skating musical is reportedly set for next year, in an all-new purpose built immersive production, similar to the long-running Bochum production.
A child’s train set magically comes to life and the various engines compete to become the “Fastest – engine in the World”! The underdog, Rusty the Steam train, has little chance until he is inspired by the legend of the “Starlight Express” and ultimately defeats his arch-rivals Greaseball and Electra before going on to win the hand of the lovely first class coach, Pearl.
The world’s only musical performed entirely on roller skates, the show premiered at the Apollo Victoria Theatre, London in 1984. The show went on to achieve international success with productions on Broadway, in Las Vegas, Japan, Australia, a North American tour and in a purpose-built Starlighthalle in Bochum, which remains playing since premiering there in 1988.
The Bochum production also received a Guinness World Record for “The Most Visitors To A Musical In A Single Theatre” in 2010.
STARLIGHT EXPRESS has music by Andrew Lloyd Webber, lyrics by Richard Stilgoe and original choreography by Arlene Phillips.

Agatha Christie’s Witness for the Prosecution has announced its tenth cast and an extension at London County Hall until 29 September 2024.
The Christie courtroom thriller has captivated over 86,000 audience members since the new year, making it a record-breaking year so far for the acclaimed production.
Benjamin Westerby (Macbeth, Imitating The Dog – UK Tour) will play the accused, Leonard Vole opposite Katie Buchholz (Leaves of Grass, Park Theatre) as Romaine Vole, Stephen Hogan (Sardar Udham, Amazon Prime) as Sir Wilfrid Robarts QC, Paul Ansdell (Dry, Human Story Theatre) as Mr Mayhew, David Shaw-Parker (Uncle Vanya, Hampstead Theatre) as Mr Justice Wainwright, and John Mackay (The Doctor, West End) as Mr Myers QC.
